Mizuki Update Announcement


Hello!

I have been hard at work getting an update ready for September which you can expect to release on September 17th, just in time for Tsukimi! Tsukimi is the annual celebration of the moon in Japan. Since Mizuki and the Crimson Moon takes place during Tsukimi, I thought it was appropriate to plan the next big demo update for this event.

First of all, thank you so much for playing the demo! I really appreciate all of the comments and feedback left on the demo so far, and you can be sure that I am doing what I can to address as many of them as I can for the next update! Here is a list of changes that you can expect when the update launches:

  • More fluid and responsive teleporting
  • Faster attacking, which should lead to smoother combat
  • Enemies will have a delay before reacting to a teleport
  • Better enemy balance throughout each stage
  • A teleport range indicator
  • The option to attack in the direction of the cursor (toggle in settings)
  • Expanded enemy AI
  • An expanded stage 5
  • Special unlockables for collecting the feathers in each stage
  • As many updated graphics as I can manage
  • Tons and tons of bug fixes
  • Hopefully more bonus features and such...

There may be more that is changed or updated before the release, but this list is a start of what you can expect.
